Randonnée facile, au départ du petit village des Avants, accessible en train depuis Montreux.
En été, on accède en voiture jusqu'au col de Jaman (parking) pour s'éviter un passage sur la route inintéressant.
Nous n'avons pas pu monter au sommet car une partie du sentier était complètement dissimulée par la neige ; je recommande plutôt cette sortie en été pour en profiter pleinement.
