Excursions in Zug: from African culture to the history of fishing

The Africa Museum in Zug immerses visitors in Africa's colonial past and cultural diversity. Carvings, ivory and ebony jewellery and various musical instruments from Congo, Nigeria, Angola, Benin, Cameroon, etc. are stored here.

All those who are enthusiastic about shipping or fishing should not miss the Fisheries Museum in the centre of Zug's old town. The museum tells the story of fishing in the 1900s. A boat trip on Lake Zug is always worth a visit. From mid-April to mid-October, you can enjoy the wonderful lake panorama over a delicious dinner or a hearty breakfast on the small Voralpsee.
