Turn-by-turn directions
You start with a leisurely ride along the shores of Lake Lucerne. Via Vitznau, Brunnen and Altdorf you reach Linthal in the canton of Glarus through the Schächen valley over the Klausen pass (1948 m) and the parish of Urnerboden. Continue along the main road to Näfels and keep left there to get to Bilten. Here you can visit the "House of Läderach" and experience with all your senses how the probably best Swiss chocolate is made. In the meantime, you can charge your car at the e-charging station in the free parking lot.
Then continue along the right shore of Lake Walen with a fantastic view of the mighty Kurfirsten. The next stop on your journey is the "Bündner Herrschaft" - thanks to the warm foehn one of Switzerland's favorite wine-growing regions. How about a stop in Maienfeld and a short walk to the Heidi village (entrance fee not included), the original setting of the world-famous Heidi story by Johanna Spyri? Continue via Lenzerheide and Tiefencastel over the Julier Pass (2284 m) into the Upper Engadine to Celerina, a charming Engadine village immediately after St. Moritz.
