Vorderes Geisshorn (3634 m.a.s.l.)

The Geisslücke (P. 3583) is, so to speak, the pass between the Mittelaletsch and Oberaletsch areas, actually the only possible crossing apart from the mighty Aletschhorn. It is recommended to cross it from east to west, as the final slope on the east side is not suitable for the descent. 300 metres north of the gap is the Vordere Geisshorn, a short and wonderful ski tour destination from the Oberaletsch Hut.
