Map / Sommet des Diablerets (3210 m.a.s.l.)
The Sommet is, so to speak, the crown of the glaciated Diablerets mountain range, the highest peak in the Vaud Alps, a dreamy vantage point.

Start the tour at the Scex Rouge mountain station. From there descend to the Col de Prapio. from here you will need the skins. Now climb along the winter hiking trail, along the slope to the top station of the drag lift on the Glacier de Tsanfleuron. Continue climbing until you reach a fixed-rope passage to the Col du Dôme. Here you have to tie your skis onto your rucksack. Afterwards go down  over a small bump and  over the glacier slightly uphill to the summit.

Tips and hints

The ascent on the north side is quite easy when using the mountain railways, but if you want to start from the Rhone Valley (Daillon above Sion), you need a lot of time. The downhill routes are quite demanding.
