Lauteraarhütte (2392 m.a.s.l.)

In the Grimsel region, the legendary Lauteraarhütte stands on a rocky spur high above the Unteraar glacier. This small, original accommodation is definitely a worthwhile, high-alpine destination with overwhelming views. The hut ascents are very long, sometimes even two-day ventures. During the ski touring season, the summer trail along the Grimselsee is not accessible.
