From the village of Feutersoey the route heads, along the summer hiking trail, in a south-westerly direction to the “Schneeweid”. It continues uphill to the “Hindere Walig” and then southwards to the top of the Walighürli. There is a wonderful view at 2000 m over the Bernese Alps. The descend on skis takes you back to Feutersoey on the south side or on the north side to the village of Gsteig, from where you can catch the bus back to Feutersoey or Gstaad.
