There are four small ski peaks on the sunny side of the Gastlosen chain. The Amelier has a narrow ridge and is therefore somewhat more difficult to climb. The ascent from Saanen through the Vallée des Fenils (Grischbach Valley) is quite lengthy, a shorter route is possible by using the ski lifts from Schönried.
