Round tour over the Brienzer Rothorn from Sörenberg
The Brienzer Rothorn lies to the north of Lake Brienz and, thanks to its detached position, offers a magnificent view of the Bernese Alps with famous peaks such as the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau. The mountain was opened up for tourism as early as 1892 with a rack railway from Brienz. Today, a cable car also leads up from Sörenberg. But the mountain range also offers countless tour options for sporty hikers. Beautiful circular hikes of variable length can be realised from Sörenberg; no less than five hiking trails lead from there to the long Brienzergrat ridge. This suggestion describes a long round tour that takes you past the "Top of Lucerne" and three other secondary peaks. However, you can shorten the round tour depending on your mood.
