Turn-by-turn directions

The tour starts by the tourist office in Fiesch; after crossing the village, follow the dirt track via Wiler to Alter Bach and onwards to Lax. After a short stretch on flat terrain, the route continues from the Deischbach along the paved Martisbergerstrasse and uphill to Martisberg. Once you reach Ritti, leave the road and take the forest path that branches off to the left, passing through the hamlet of Egga on relatively flat terrain to the idyllic Valais village of Betten and onwards to Goppisberg. This is where the next climb starts: passing through the hamlets of Bodu, Gstalji, Bina and Biel, ride up to Riederalp, the first destination on the sun plateau. The route continues eastwards along the Aletschpromenade to Bettmeralp, the highest point on the round trip. From the cable car station on Bettmeralp, follow the asphalt road that leads down to the hamlet of Domo. Once there, turn onto the forest road that branches off to the left and ride through the Badewald forest to Martisberg. Now it's time to take on the descent towards Fiesch: after the first hairpin bend at the eastern end of the village, an easily rideable single trail branches off to the left before rejoining Martisbergerstrasse shortly afterwards. Those who want to avoid the single trail can stick to the asphalt road. Continue along here until you reach the road in the valley that leads back to Fiesch.
