This bicycle tour along the panoramic circular trail around Lake Thun reveals ever-changing views of the deep blue waters and surrounding mountains. The loop takes you from Sigriswil to Oberhofen and finally via Hünibach to Thun. You will ride through idyllic villages, passing lush green meadows and historical monuments and castles. The friendly town of Thun beckons with a short break to recharge your batteries at one of the riverside restaurants. The tour continues by way of Gwatt and Spiez to Därligen. After Unterseen, a short ascent leads to the St. Beatus Caves, from here to Merligen and back to your starting point in Sigriswil. This route consists mainly of rarely frequented and unsurfaced roads. Beautiful lake and mountain views are guaranteed. Two highlights await when you cross the 340-metre-long and 180-metre-high panoramic suspension bridge at Sigriswil and the 142-meter-long suspension bridge at Leissigen.
