High Winds III

On our route we don't find any actual towns, the ups and downs through valleys and over hills offer only a few mountain restaurants as a «connection to civilisation». On the other hand, this tour near the Three Countries Corner offers magnificent views of the high peaks of the Swiss Alps, the Vosges in France and the Black Forest hills in Germany. For mountain bikers, this tour is an Eldorado, from tricky trails over the crumbly limestone of the Jura to easily rideable field and forest paths, from gentle climbs and racy descents to pushing or even carrying passages. The tour offers everything that makes bikers' hearts beat faster. This tour is largely identical to the Hohe Winde II tour, which begins and ends north of the Passwang at the Beinwil monastery in Basel.
