Distance 53.2 km
This tour runs without many metres in altitude from Solothurn along the Aare to Wangen a. A., across fields to Oensingen and through the Klus to Balsthal. Now the climb begins on a small asphalt road up to the Brunnersberg and the Güggel. Now the route descends briefly and on the other side of a valley gully back up to Matzendörfer-Stierenberg. After Rotlach, riding over Jura pastures, we reach the Schöneberg. Apart from a small counter-climb to Bächle, we can enjoy the descent to Corcelles station. From there, the Moutierbahn takes us back to Solothurn.
Note(s)
The trail from Güggel to point 1190 down to Täli is very gravelly. The descent from the high-voltage power line down to Rotlach is interspersed with stones.
