Trans Swiss Trail

Varied natural landscapes, cultural and historical sites with numerous places of interest as well as large cities are crossed along the Trans Swiss Trail. Along rivers and by ferry over lakes, through woodland and moorland to small, cosy towns, through vibrant cities with historic sites and cultural attractions, and over the famous Gotthard Pass - that is the Trans Swiss Trail. On the way from Porrentruy through the Jura and the lake district, you first reach the city of Bern. Through Emmental and Entlebuch we then reach the Sarnersee and Vierwaldstättersee lakes. On the historic mule tracks we cross the famous Gotthard Pass and enter southern Switzerland. On the Trans Swiss Trail we can take shortcuts at any time or extend the tour with worthwhile side trips. The good public transport network makes it possible to get on and off at any point.
