What a view! On the Raten pass, the Aegeri valley lies at your feet. We start our hike easily direction Gottschankenberg. From there a wonderful panorama hiking path takes us past the Bloodhound Missile base to the Maria Hilf Convent on the Gubel. The different views of all together five lakes make this hike very special. And finally an enticing cup of coffee in the convent village of Menzingen!
Raten pass direction Gottschalkenberg - Abschwändi - Gottschalkenberg - Brändlen, through the wood to Bruustweid - around the hill to Hintertann - steep uphill to the Chnollenweid - down to Füürschwand - right direction Gubel - on the ridge to the Gubel convent - right downhill via Bolzli - Bumbach - to Menzingen.
