From Münchenbuchsee railway station, hike north to the Moospinte golf course, which you cross. Continue on to Äspli where you will be impressed by the biodiversity in the sunken quarry and the distant view of the mountains. After Ballmoos you walk across the field to the mighty farmyards of Zuzwil. Several valuable old granaries can be seen here. Next is Iffwil and the community of loosely grouped individual barns. Then you cross the Mülchibach and follow the Messibach to the destination of Messen.
