The Herzroute carefully stalks its way up through narrow valleys to the heights, always finding new crevasses and traverses to shimmy from one ditch to the next.The proud town of Burgdorf and the pawsome farming village of Langnau mark the two centers of the Emmental and frame this otherwise very intimate stage. In between, the route prances through the best Emmental specialties: The magical Luterbachtal, the Mänziwilegg vantage point, the absurdly steep «Ochsenweidler» and the magnificent Signau with its museum-like houses. You are in the best of hands and can even return to Burgdorf along the Emme if your muscles twitch enough, in order to relive the party the next day.
