Schönried train station is a 5-minute walk away from the hotel. The station has connections to Bern (1 hr 30 mins.), Zürich HB (2 hrs 30 mins.), Basel SBB (2 hrs 30 mins.), Lausanne (2 hrs 30 mins.) and Geneva (3 hrs.).Getting there
By car:
From German-speaking Switzerland, take the A6 and exit the motorway at Wimmis. Then follow the signs for Zweisimmen and Gstaad. From Bern or Bern-Belp, the journey takes approx. 1 hour, and approx. 2 1/2 hours from Lörrach/Basel and from Zurich.
From the western part of Switzerland, take the Bulle exit off the motorway and follow the signs for Château d'Oex/Gstaad. Once you arrive in Saanen, after the tunnel go around the roundabout and ¾ of the way around take the road signposted for Schönried. From Lausanne it takes approx. 1 hour and 45 mins, and from Geneva approx. 2 hours and 15 mins.
