On the regional route no. 44, on the left side of the Aare, as far as Büren an der Aare. There you change to the right side of the Aare and take national route no. 8 "Aare Route" to Scheuern, where you cross the river again and then continue on the left side of the Aare to Lake Biel. There we recommend a break and a cool down in the lido on the lake. The recommended way back is on the other side of the river. For this, always follow the Aare Route No. 8 to Solothurn (a short section will take you along the same route as on the outward journey). If you prefer to linger a little longer by the lake, you can also take the train back to Solothurn. Don't forget to buy a 1/2 ticket for your bike!
