Schwarzbubenland

From Aesch station, the route leads along the Birs in the Laufental valley to Zwingen, where we turn off towards Passwang and ride to Breitenbach in Solothurn. From there we leave the main axes and the main climb follows to Fehren, where we reach the heights of the Gempen plateau and the so-called "Schwarzbubenland" (the Schwarzbubenland extends over the Solothurn districts of Dorneck and Thierstein). We ride over the heights to the village of Gempen, from where a racy descent via Dornach to Aesch station awaits us at the end.
