The beautifully situated Bettlachberg mountain restaurant is set against the impressive backdrop of the Wandflue mountain with a view of the Wetterhorn, Schreckhorn, Finsteraarhorn, Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau mountains. Various wonderful hiking trails will lead you to the mountain restaurant. It can also be reached by car via a gravel road from the forest entrance by Schützenhaus Bettlach shooting range.

The jewel in the ‘Witi’ crown in Selzach: the Fischerstube in Altreu. Andrea Fischer and her husband Daniel run this luxuriously renovated inn with great enthusiasm and expertise. Andrea is passionate about and skilled in the art of service. She loves her job and her guests, and it’s clear how much she enjoys spoiling them. Her enthusiasm is infectious. And it’s no wonder, given the exquisite menus conjured up by husband Daniel in the kitchen, based on seasonal, regional products. A cosy mountain restaurant on Solothurn’s local mountain. Since 1983, the Niederberger family has been offering diners at Restaurant Sennhaus traditional Swiss cuisine with produce from their own farm and from the region. Sennhaus is just 10 minutes away from the Weissenstein cable car station, right on the mountain pass and sledge run.

Located 1,226 metres above sea level, Gasthof Hinter-Weissenstein is around 30 minutes’ walk from the Weissenstein cable car station. The business has been successfully run by the Stucki family and their team since 1957. The house specialities include home-made Swiss rösti and bread and seasonal desserts. For the hosts, using seasonal and regional products is incredibly important.

The beautiful dining room caters for 35 people while the large terrace offers an unobstructed view of the Alps. The culinary offer also focuses on quality: from the menu to the cakes to the bread, everything is home-made and the products are organic or regionally sourced.
