Mountain biking trails in Wimmis

Very easy beginner's tour in flat terrain. Ideal for families with children.

On side roads, field and forest paths and of course on single trails into the Kander valley!

From Zweisimmen to the idyllic Seebergsee lake and via the Diemtigtal valley to Spiez.

This tour is a scenic tour through some incredibly pretty valleys in the Berner Oberland. The Farmel valley is remote and stunningly beautiful with some of the surrounding mountains almost having a feel of the Dolomites to them. Once over the Grimmifurrgi the descent into the Diemtig valley is sometimes a little difficult with a trail that is often difficult to follow. From Grimmialp there is a singletrail following the main road down the valley almost the whole way to Wimmis.

Leisurely, comfortable and varied circular tour at the entrance to the Simmental.

Konditionell anspruchsvolle Rundtour von Reutigen auf den Mattehubel (1563m). Anschliessend geht es in einem genau so anspruchsvollem Downhill über das Spittelnacki und Oberchlusi nach Erlenbach im Simmental.

Beispielsweise via Riggisberg mit der Bahn aus Zürich herkommend erreicht man den Gurnigelpass auf 1'594 MüM in gut zwei Stunden. Was dann folgt, ist nichts anderes als ein beinahe zusammenhängender, erstklassiger Singletrail nach Thun (Anteil zirka 70%!). So gilt unter anderem der lupenreine Panorama-Singletrail vom Leiterepass zur Walalp als Höhepunkt.
