Various wonderful hiking trails will lead you to the mountain restaurant. It can also be reached by car via a gravel road from the forest entrance by Schützenhaus Bettlach shooting range.

A cosy mountain restaurant on Solothurn’s local mountain. Since 1983, the Niederberger family has been offering diners at Restaurant Sennhaus traditional Swiss cuisine with produce from their own farm and from the region. Sennhaus is just 10 minutes away from the Weissenstein cable car station, right on the mountain pass and sledge run.
Holiday House

Above the fog, the Tannenheim holiday house can be found on the first chain of the Jura Mountains in Balmberg. This location is a great starting point for worthwhile hikes with views of the Alps. There’s an excellent rope course just five minutes’ walk from the house. You can also take advantage of one to three-hour hikes with the eight alpacas. A barbecue and fire pit, folding tables and benches for 50 people, two table tennis tables, a football table and a swing for three complete the offer.
