Bike rides in Saanen

From Lac Léman to Lake Constance, it passes ten larger and smaller lakes and offers magnificent views across the water to the Alps and Pre-Alps.

Varied tour from St. Stephan, up the Rüwlispass and Horneggli, via Saanenmöser, Zweisimmen and back to St. Stephan with single trail sections.

This itinerary offers an interesting discovery of the Pays-d'Enhaut valley along the river Sarine and across green zones.

The tour starts at Saanen and mostly secondary roads are used. It's a beautiful route via Abländschen and Zweisimmen back to Saanen. The Mittelberg pass and the thrilling downhill from Jaun pass are the highlights of the tour.

The Lakes Route takes you on a journey across Switzerland's picture-book landscape. Magnificent views of the Alps are doubly enchanting with reflections in the water.

This round is going to be on solitary side streets, some with rough surface which sometimes remind of pavé sections in northern part of France or the Rapha Gentlemen Races. With the landscape impressions it is a special and beautiful tour.

Ancient legends tell that God took a break by the creation of the world, rested and that his handprints created the Saanenland. The four valleys of the region are said to represent the four fingers of the hand. They can be combined in any way and form the basis for all shorter rides in the region of Gstaad.
