Bike rides in Leuk

From the peaks of Crans-Montana to the mountainous cirque of Leukerbad, the second stage of the Valais Cycling Tour takes you downhill to Sierre, the city of sunshine, and across the vineyards of Salgesch before finishing in the thermal resort of Leukerbad.

The Rhone Route traverses the Valais against an imposing mountain backdrop on charming and peaceful paths along the Rhone. It leads past the palm tree promenades of Lac Léman and the picturesque Lavaux vineyards and ends in the cosmopolitan city of Geneva.

From Brig to St-Luc, via the Moosalp pass, this fifth stage is one of the highlights of the Valais Cycling Tour.

From the spa resort of Leukerbad to the banks of the Rhone River, stage three takes you all the way to Oberwald at the foot of Swiss mountain passes of legend (Nufenen, Grimsel and Furka). On route, you will be steps away from the magnificent Aletsch Glacier, the largest glacier in the Alps and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The second stage of the Vineyard Trail takes you on a journey from the historical monuments of the capital of Valais through sunny vineyards to the heart of the town of Leuk.

From Salgesch to Varen, the route climbs gently across vineyards before ascending in regular intervals to Leukerbad.

Your tour through the Valais main valley: You will discover many small villages and even drive through the "Pfynwald" nature reserve.
